Test Results

Laboratory services that are obtained and/or performed in our office are sent to an outside facility where the test will actually be completed. In most cases, the results are returned to our office within 48 hours. It is our policy to report all (positive or negative) results to our patients. A member of our staff will contact only the patient with the results. It is not our policy to leave test results on any form of voice mail. Unless you have been told that a specific test's results may take longer, call our office if you have not received the results of your test after 72 hours.

Some of the results, depending on the test, are not allowed to be given over the telephone. In these cases, you will be asked to make an appointment with the physician to discuss the results and treatment plan.
